David Caras

David Caras is an expert in consumer and horticultural branding. He also heads Electric Image Productions, Ferguson Caras' Internet & video production subsidiary. An early proponent of the Internet, David has been involved in website development and the PR opportunities of the Web since 1994.

David began his career as an actor and writer. As an actor, he has appeared in regional stock and dinner theaters, often supplementing his income as a bartender in some of Manhattan’s top watering holes. He was a freelance business writer and a contributor to Readers Digest Books for many years. He started in public relations as a contract employee & speechwriter for the Agricultural Counselor of the U.S. Embassy in Paris, France.

As a director, David’s 2003 independent short “Found Money” was featured by nine film festivals and aired on public and cable television. He recently completed a novel for young readers, 10 and up, Baxter Kincaid. David holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in theater from Adelphi University. He is from Fairfax, Virginia.

Sally and David have two sons, Peter and Wylie, now in college.
